Main birds: Black Vulture, Griffon Vulture, Booted Eagle, Blue Rock Thrush, Osprey (occasional), Eleonora’s Falcon (August-October), Balearic Warbler, Crossbill, Firecrest. Very interesting during migration.
-SOUTH OF SERRA DE TRAMUNTANA; visiting low areas of s’Esclop (Son Fortuny Estate), Ses Ànimes Tower and Public Estate of Galatzó. Main birds: Black Vulture, Griffon Vulture, Booted Eagle, Blue Rock Thrush, Balearic Shearwater, Cory’s Shearwater, Cirl Bunting, Balearic Warbler, Balearic subspecies of Woodchat Shrike and Spotted Flycatcher (May-September).
-NORTH-EAST WETLANDS; visiting s’Albufereta Natural Reserve, Maristany lagoon, s’Albufera Natural Park, Alcúdia and Pollença bay. Main birds: large variety of waterfowl, Kentish Plover, Moustached Warbler, Black-winged Stilt, Osprey, Marsh Harrier. Good during migration and winter.
-SON REAL AND LLEVANT PENINSULA; visiting Public Estate of Son Real, s’Alqueria de s’Avall (Llevant Natural Park), Public Estate of sa Duaia and Capdepera Cape. Main birds: Balearic Warbler, Dartford Warbler, Booted Eagle, Cirl Bunting, Thekla Lark, Balearic and Cory`s Shearwater.
-MALLORCAN CENTRAL PLAINS; visiting Pla de l’Anzell (Vilafranca), farmlands of Maria de la Salud and Sa Pobla. Main birds: Quail and Short-toed Lark (April-September), Red-legged Partridge, Booted Eagle, Thekla Lark, Zitting Cisticola, House Sparrow, Cirl Bunting. Interesting during migration and winter.
-SALOBRAR DE CAMPOS AND SOUTHERN WETLANDS; visiting Salobrar de Campos, Es Trenc shore and Colònia de Sant Jordi surroundings. Main birds: diferent species of waders, Flamingos, Audouin’s Gull, Osprey (especially in winter), Red-legged Partridge, Thekla Lark, Short-toed Lark (April-September), Zitting Cisticola. Interesting during migration.
-SOUTH-WEST MALLORCA; visiting Cala Fornells, El Toro and Son Ferrer, Cala Figuera Cape, Calvià and Es Capdellà. Main birds: Balearic Shearwater, Cory’s Shearwater, Mediterranean subespecies of Shag, Yellow-legged Gull, Booted Eagle, Red-legged Partridge, Hoopoe, Blue Rock Thrush, Crag Martin, Balearic Warbler, Cirl Bunting.
-SA DRAGONERA AND WEST MALLORCA; Sa Dragonera Natural Park and Sant Elm pinewoods. Main birds: Balearic Shearwater, Cory`s Shearwater, Audouin’s Gull, Yellow legged Gull, Mediterranean subespecies of Shag, Eleonora’s Falcon (May-September), Balearic subspecies of Crossbill, Woodchat Shrike, Spotted Flycatcher (May-September). Interesting during postbreeding migration.
-LLUCMAJOR COAST; Cap Enderrocat garrigues, Cap Blanc cliffs, shrubby areas and pinewoods of Llucmajor. Main birds: Shag, Yellow-legged Gull, Red-legged Partridge, Pallid Swift, Thekla Lark, Tawny Pipit, Blue Rock Thrush, Balearic Warbler, Cirl Bunting.
-PALMA AND SURROUNDINGS; visiting Es Carnatge, Prat de Sant Jordi and Serra de na Burguesa. Main birds: diferent species of waders and waterfowl, Mediterranean subspecies of Shag, Audouin’s Gull, Zitting Cisticola, Firecrest, Spotted Flycatcher (May-September).
-SOUTHEAST COAST; s’Algar garrigues, Mondragó Natural Park, woodlans of Santanyí. Main birds: Audouin’s Gull, Shag, Booted Eagle, Kestrel, Stonecurlew, Hoopoe, Thekla Lark, Tawny Pipit, Balearic Warbler, Cirl Bunting.
